Albert Ian Morse

Esq.

Born in the town of Thompson, NY, Ian was raised between Ellenville and Kerhonkson. Ian had humble beginnings growing up in the Hudson Valley, and he is truly a product of the area.

Ian was fully educated in the Rondout Valley School System, and he is a graduate of Kerhonkson Elementary, Rondout Valley Middle School, and Rondout Valley High School. During his time at Rondout Valley High, Ian was a very active member of the student body.

He participated in the Rondout Valley News, the Wounded Warrior benefit concert, mock trial, and the WISE program. He was also a three-sport athlete as co-captain of the football, wrestling, and track teams. During his senior year, Ian excelled on the mats and finished his career with over 100 wins, a Section 9 championship, and a place in the state tournament.

Despite his successes, it was his second-place finish in the Ulster County finals of the mock trial tournament during his senior year that made the keenest impression on him. It was his first courtroom loss, and he found himself dissatisfied. He knew he'd found his calling in life.

College Years

Ian attended the University at Albany, New York following the conclusion of his senior year of high school. He wrestled for all four years. In addition to his wrestling, Ian had to work on the weekends in order to afford his living expenses. He quickly picked up a job in the hospitality business and learned the trade.

During his junior year, Ian placed fifth at the Northeastern Conference tournament at 165 pounds and qualified for the national tournament in North Allen, TX. Ian graduated from the University at Albany with a bachelor's degree in English. He minored in philosophy. Law School

Ian excelled at the Charleston School of Law during his three years there. In addition to being named a Presidential Scholar, Ian founded the Jewish Law Society, which raised significant contributions for charitable causes and brought a wide array of different speakers to the student body.

During his time in law school, Ian was a member of the Health Law, Maritime Law, Entertainment and Sports Law, and Intellectual Property Law Societies. Ian studied widely while in Charleston, but his primary focuses were contract law and property law.

Just like he had during his undergraduate studies, Ian continued to work as a waiter at night and on the weekends while attending law school so he could afford his living expenses. Ian earned a full-tuition scholarship to study abroad in the Hague, Netherlands, where he studied international law and the law of war.

Professional Career

After graduating from the Charleston School of Law, Ian passed the New York State Bar examination and attended the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in Manhattan, NY. Ian chose Cardozo for his master's degree, and he was excited to continue his education at a worldwide top-10 law program.

This was his chance to master these complicated legal topics.
